In 2004, Lara graduated from Falmouth College of Arts with a BA (Hons) in Photography. Since then she has continued to take photographs capturing the essence of the natural world and man’s impact on it. Each of her images is an expression of her fascination of the world that we live in.

Alongside her personal work, has also co-founded Beyond Vision, an organisation that specialises in participatory photography. It offers vulnerable groups from around the world the opportunity to voice their views about their lives, allowing for self-expression and creativity through the medium of photography.
